Ripped silver hearts
Glasses, half empty, half full, full of lipstick
Filled with endless red wine and conversations
Screaming your name in the middle of the night
I did tell you, but you did not listen
You did not see she kissed you with poisoned lips
And slowly drowned you in fake love and passion
I draw silver hearts on the paper lying next to you
So she did kiss you and tell you she loved you
And foolish as you were, such childish innocence
You fell for her pink tricks and sweet purple words
Although I warned you not to trust her
You fell in love, stormed hopelessly blind into the madness called crush
She was beautiful like a rose, but in the end the rose seems to have thorns
And I draw silver hearts on the paper lying next to you
Roofs crashing down on the ceilings
Ceilings crashing on the floors below
Floors crashing down on the foundations
Foundations slipping away in the mud
And so your house of trust fades away in the black of the night
As I draw silver hearts on the paper lying next to you
My tears flow in rivers, lakes, the ocean blue
Your sorrow was my sorrow, like your love was mine
And it hurts me deep to see you fall into the darkness of loves first kiss
We have found you crying, screaming, cursing, dying on the floor
Broken and twisted like the lost thoughts in my head
And I weep for you, with you, because of you, I weep
Like I draw silver hearts on the paper lying next to you
Now you bleed the red of the thorns of the rose
You choke in the poison of the soft lips
You become entranced by the song of the siren
And ashamed of my eyes watching you closely
You lie down on the crashed floor in the mud, in your own blood
And you are gone even faster than I can think of…
Drawing silver hearts on the ripped paper lying next to my ripped friend
