As I gaze above at the flickering stars,
I ask myself why to have fought those wars.
After my life, they say, will I return to eternal holiness,
or will I, I think, be thrown into infinite nothingness?
Questions like this've haunted mankind forever,
will we really stay ignorant or will we find an answer?
Humanity will never tell, but still listen to me,
as an owner of a mind have I figured out a filosophy.
The reasons for life, never will we them know,
but keep in mind this is an important subject, though.
When they do not exist, then why do we live,
why has there been a force with a world to us to give?
Yet have we found that it's sure there is more,
but please don't fall asleep, this won't be a bore.
If we know something exists, then what can it be,
will we ever recognize it, will we ever see?
Apart from that, after life, where will we go?
Or death, will it be no more than merely a show?
Now I think I gave enough to think about,
but all I really did was to think, aloud!
Great thanks to David de Ruiter 777!
