She covers her ears, and closes her eyes
Trying to obscure the voices, and block out the lies
Shaking with sobs, she stumbles and falls
She plummets to the floor and her head hits the wall
She crawls to the bed, engrossed in the pain
Blood hits the floor, making a stain
Under the mattress, she pulls her hand out
Revealing knife, her eyes filled with doubt
She sits on the floor and lifts up her skirt
Her milky white skin looks mangled and hurt
She slides her finger down the glistening blade
The blood will stop flowing but the pain never fades
She covers her ears, and closes her eyes
Trying to obscure the voices, and block out the lies
Blood runs down her finger, across her manicured nails
Down her porcelain skin, leaving a trail
It drips to the floor, making time with the clock
She watches it flow, until finally it stops
She grips the knife firmly; her nails hurt her palm
Tears stream down her face, she's collected and calm
She slides the knife down her bruised and scarred thigh
She traces it deeper, and closes her eyes
She sucks in a breath; the pain seems too real
She'll punish herself for the pain that she feels
She covers her ears, and closes her eyes
Trying to obscure the voices, and block out the lies
