If I would die tomorrow,
While I laid in her arms
I would not be sorrow
For I have seen the most beautiful thing in the world
For I have seen Aphrodite’s child
She is what I would call an angel
With a beauty no-one equals
I could say; she is a fairy
For the way she moves around,
With an unnatural grace
Perhaps I’d say that she’s a ghost
For she has that thing around her I can never catch
I can come close, but no way near her on the other hand
Aphrodite has given birth
The subject of my affection is the child of a goddess
Exceeding her mother in all
The goddess of love and beauty has found her superior
I’ve come close, almost caught her, but I was far from nearby
Perhaps one day, she’ll turn her kind tenderness to me
Perhaps one day, I’ll feel her love surrounding me
But now I’m just a human child
Looking every day towards the sky
Trying to catch a smile that would fill my day with love
I can’t keep myself from hoping that one day she’ll come down
Down to me
