I open up an oyster
a white pearl shines within
I touch it
the pearl begins to spin
it’s twisting in my hand
as my eyes follow the curves
it jumps back into the sea
it sinks, instead of surfs
I dive into the blue
and shout :
I’m searching for you.
I go way too deep
trying to be quiet
cause the fishes sleep
I follow the light
hold my breath,
with all my might
I loose conscious
you role back into my hand
together we drown
this was our last stand.
