"Snowcastle Drumbyle"
it manifested itself as a clear sky
so that shadows could roam freely
above the castle in my dream
towers were high up in amber cloud
the doorsteps I'd to enter
they were flaked with white snow
I looked up and defied this world
when the
shades before my eyes went damp
so the morning of life became me
with great angst thought I,
the lady would come
sun was spreading warmth you'd see
broken light through morning skies
and the field I'd taken in darkness;
she was taking it away from me
never spoken of such beauty I ran,
affraid it wouldn't last
she'd chosen to let me live
she would burn down the past
one ray struck before my feet
and almost instantly
I realised my defeat
it stopt me I ran back but then
lightning broke free
the castle would be my refugee
as the shadows would still be close
but she bathed me in light
was when I rose
to her sun
would shield me against all pain
my lady would simply let..it..rain,
wash all that remained of pain
she'd forgiven mistakes I'd made
the darkness was drifting away
and the morning I'd been aching to welcome
was ridden of memory from that day...
