Bird
One day a bird came to me
Sat on my shoulder you see
I couldn’t understand what it meant
By the time I knew, it already went
I don’t spoke it’s language, you know,
I just walked along its wonderful flow
While wandering along the blue coloured see
I felt a sudden sadness all over me
The bird came to me and whistled in its way
I could only stare while it flew away
What on earth did the bird say to me
I thought its words could set me free
I’m lying, you know, this is all a big lie
I’m already dead and didn’t even die
The bird didn’t tell me any new word
Just pointed out that everybody can hurt
It’s not the bird that is setting us free
I need no stranger when it comes to you and me
Not any existing beautiful bird can give us wings to fly away
In this crazy world we’re just all going astray
I think my bird told me : freedom you make yourself
It’s not a good thing to all hide in a shelf
Make your own wings and fly, fly, fly
We’re the only ones who can turn a grey in blue sky
Take me away to your blue sky
Take my hand and let us fly
Take the trouble out of my wings
So I can fly to better things
