I’m writing a novel
a novel of life
with a princess and a knight
in a magic-filled land
I’m writing a story
with not one single strife
emotions for ink
for my heart to command
A tale to be told
with love and with pleasure
by a princess and knight
of their utter romance
A saga of senses
a unique, special treasure
of how timid paces
transformed to a dance
With your kiss for inscription
and your skin for my scroll
I’d be writing these phrases
of love and compassion
Your eyes for distinction
and your voice as my call
for my heart then to answer
in my dialect of passion
I’m writing a novel
my novel of life
and you’re there and you challenge
every one of my charms
Yet, I’d be hugging you, knight
and I’ll never let go
until that tale ends in laughter
and you, in my arms
--xx--Yours--xx--
