Oh my God
It can mean many things:
When you're in love
And receive a ring
Or a goodbye letter
When you're sad
And it starts to rain
Or a loved one comes to cheer you up
When you're scared
And a friend grabs your hand
Or someone switches the light off
When you're lost
And you break your leg
Or you see a familiar point
When you want to be alone
And your mailbox stais empty
Or the phone keeps ringing
When you're need of luck
And your house burns down
Or you win the lottery
When your happy
And a long lost friend comes back home
Or everyone you know seems to be away
When you're homesick
And you receive bad news about your family
Or receive a postcard saying 'all's well'
When you're cold
And the sun starts to shine
Or someone pushes you into the water
When you're sweating all over
And your roommate turns the heater on
Or a breeze starts to blow
When your feet hurt
And someone offers you a chair
Or you find out you walked in the wrong direction
When you're tired
And feel like time is crawling by
Or someone offers to take a rest
When you're lost for words
And people know what you want to say
Or nobody has a clue what you mean
When you don't know how to continue
And the manual is lost
Or others remember the course to follow
When you're stuck
And a passer-by gives you a hand
Or you tear your pants apart
When you're broke
And you're being sued
Or you get money back from the IRS
When you're hungry
And come home to dinner
Or can't find a place to eat
But it can mean many other things as well, when help is offered when you most need it.
A call for good, one of hope
Or a call for bad, one of despair
But often it's a warning that badtimes are near
