"Go on, leave, I'm letting you go"
"You can't! You can't manage without me!"
"Yes I can! I'm stronger than you think"
"No you're not, you're nothing without me!"
"You're hurting me, I can't take this pain any more"
"What pain? I've never left you?!"
"Yes you have, and I've been told this:
One night, you won't come back. I couldn't take that!""
"Leave, I wish to be alone"
"You don't really mean that, I love you baby!"
"You always say that, yet you always leave me alone
Enough's enough. this ends here and now!"
She turned her back to him and stood still
She didn't dare turn around
She would not be able to keep her eyes dry
She would not be able to not cry
She loved him and wanted to believe he loved her
She wanted to believe that what he had said was true
But it wasn't, and she had to remember that
Must never forget, or she'd be lost
He walked around a bit,
Trying to make her change her mind
How had she found out where he went every evening?
He never said or showed her anything, right?
She must have had help;
All he had done was tell her he went for rides.
How would he react?
Would he go mad for being sent away?
Then he said goodbye
He would get his things later
She followed him to the door
And shut it behind him
Crying she sat down on the floor
She knew she had done the right thing
But it hurt to have done it
She loved him still
He had tormented her by going away every night
Only to come back and fall asleep beside her
Never truelly talking, only smiling at her
Making her mind confused
But now he was gone
She could finally move on
