Standing in glory, tall and proud, looking at my reflection
In the mirror on the wall, I see lovingly the deepest truth
That only my naked body can tell, showing its attraction
To none but those of old thoughts, but with a mind of youth
We are born into one of the purest forms, with no lies
There’s nothing for us to hide, nothing for us to know
Yet we are bestowed with the gift of clothes until one dies
And in our graves, our best garments, got nothing to show
Hide forever the truth, believe nothing good is forever
For how could it be for us, there’s nothing but pain
Even the ones that we consider to be very clever
Conclude that happiness is only for the true insane
I have the choice: wearing clothes or shamefully stay bare
As nothing can hide me, cover me, I look at my reflection
That tells me I am myself and, no matter what they say, I care
To be in my purest form forever will be my ultimate satisfaction
